I guess he thinks that the WHITE House has gotten a little too, ah, non-Anglo-Saxon for his liking.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the thing. When the 2008 election was going on, I was doing some research on my mom&#8217;s genealogy, and I\u00a0discovered that we are distantly related to the (now) President through a common <strong>English<\/strong> ancestor. \u00a0But that&#8217;s not all. That common ancestor was a direct descendant of William the Conqueror&#8217;s brother (and therefore, so is the President).<\/p>\n<p>So, yeah, that whole Anglo-Saxon thing? The President&#8217;s a Norman.
