I just got an email from Smithsonian Journeys, and one of the things they’re advertising is their Egyptian Tour. (They don’t know how to spell “pharaoh,” but I’ll allow them one small gaffe.)<\/p>\n

I have often said that I want to go to Egypt when I’m 60. Now I know basically how much money I will need (although it’ll surely cost more in 2010, I at least have a starting point).
